Michael Borst is working in the IT-industry since 1997.
He has worked in various sales roles for Xerox, OpenShop, Akamai, GFT, Polaris Software Lab, Logica, Deutsche Telekom, CSC and Atos.
He started doing a 6 month sales-trainee program with Xerox, afterwards he was responsible for sales of digital highspeed printers in Bavaria.
When the “Neuer Markt” startet, he moved as a Channel Sales Manager to OpenShop, one of the first eCommerce software companies in Germany.
At Akamai, the leading Content Delivery Network provider, he worked as a sales executive for banks and insurances.
After Akamai he was responsible for all banking clients of GFT.
In order to learn more about the indian business culture he moved from GFT to Polaris Software Lab, a leading provider of banking software located in Chennai. There he was responsible for all business in Germany.
After Polaris he started his own company and worked for Logica and Deutsche Telekom as an Interim Sales Manager.
As CSC’s Account General Manager for European Central Bank (ECB) he had full P/L responsibility for a 50 million Euros business.
Today Michael works for Atos and is responsible for the business with Allianz Group in Germany.
Michael won the Polaris Sales Excellence award in 2003 for a deal with Allianz.
